Standardized Training For All Participants

One of the purposes of the YWAM Ponta Grossa´s Schools is to promote character development according to God´s Biblical standards for everyone who chooses to be part of YWAM´s outreaches and missions.

In this ministry we intend to standardize teaching for all visiting missionaries-in-training to promote high standards of missions for God.  YWAM Ponta Grossa´s Schools  started in August 2003 with bi-annual training schools for the past five years.

Each year we offer two different training schools:

1.Discipleship Training School (DTS) which is the entrance door       for those who want to be part of YWAM Ministries. It is a five-month course with intensive training in Bible studies, discipleship and character development.

2. The second training school is an evening school, called ENVIA in Portuguese. ENVIA is a three-month course that focuses on the character development process according to God´s Biblical standards and discipleship.
In YWAM Ponta Grossa´s schools, good morals and character development is not just taught by words, but lived out in daily lifestyle of each YWAM volunteer.   To develop our goals, it is essential that we have group unity, honesty, transparency, loyalty, fidelity, and purity in thought and lifestyle.
