“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you, for the darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” Isaiah 60:1

For many years India has been a nation who has lived under thick spiritual darkness, for the idolatry and the uncountable number of Indian gods have blinded the people of that nation. But it’s time to weak them up, raise them and take off the veil of their eyes, for the light of the Glory of the Lord is shining over that nation, the time of the mercy of the Lord has came!

Facing the reality of the Indian nation, we saw that we can’t stand here and do nothing. As servants of the Lord we felt strongly compelled to do something more than just praying for India.

For this and other reasons is why the Lord has brought into our hearts a strong love for India. We have received a call from the Lord to this nation, where the Christians have suffered hard persecutions by the radical hindus, many missionaries have been arrested, tortured, threatened, have had their houses and churches burned and many have already died.

Even facing all those persecutions and spiritual darkness that are over that nation, we don’t feel intimidated at all, but it is the opposite, during those days due to that news, it was born in our hearts a big love for India.

This Love is the beginning of a Project that has been generated in our spiritual wombs. We have been constantly praying for India and we understand that this nation was given to us as our heritance for God Himself, and that’s why we will see our dream coming to birth and we will conquer that nation to the Lord.

The focus of our project will be the Indian children, specially the girls that suffer with the infant prostitution. God gave to our base a mercy ministry to work with children. For this reason we believe that our work in India will be focused to the children, as well as in our other International Projects.

This is just the beginning, the dream was already dreamed and the project has been generated. We pray that the Lord will raise a strong team of brave and merciful missionaries ready to go to India and conquer the children of that nation to the Lord Jesus!

A little bit more about India

India is the seventh biggest country in the World, it has an area equivalent to 1/3 of Brazil. It is located at middle-south of Asia and it is surrounded by Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Mianmar.
India has the second biggest population in Earth with about one billion of inhabitants. In about 2050 it is possible that India will have more inhabitants than China and it will become the nation with the biggest population of the World, with about 1,6 billion people. About 1/3 of the Indians are less than 15 years old.

The Hinduism and Buddhism were born there. India is a polytheist, and it been a nation extremely religious and million of gods are worshiped all over the country. The Hinduism represents the largest part of the population of the country, being followed by the Muslins and Christians.

One of the biggest social problems in India is the children prostitution. The girls that are not originally from India come from Nepal, one of the countries in the board of India. Those girls were sold by their parents to “agents” of the prostitution in India.

It is estimated that there are about 500.000 children in India living under the prostitution. Most of those girls didn’t choose this life style, in many of those cases; they were sold or betrayed by their families and agents working in prostitution houses. Many families that sell their girls to prostitution might have been deceived by the agents, and they can sell their girls for about US$4,00. It is a so tiny amount, however can make a big difference for a family who is so hungry between life and death.
