YWAM Ponta Grossa's backstage

A place established by God for His children to develop their ministries with all potential. This is one of the purposes of YWAM Ponta Grossa, a missionary base of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) established since 13 January 2002, in Ponta Grossa - a town in the countryside of Paraná, State in the South Region of Brazil, and approximately 100 miles away from Curitiba - capital of Paraná - Brazil.

Because we believe that people, communities and nations live, today, the great need of capacitation, health assistance and social justice, we have developed projects focused on the communitarian development, such as: assistance to children that have low performance at School, recreation activities, children and teens discipleship, sports, drama, street dance, hip hop, computer and other classes, vocational courses, talks (self-steem), construction works, taking people to have medical and dental treatments, University Entrance Exam preparatory course, arts and music workshops, and other activities as a way to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Base in Numbers: There are 3.600 square meters of total land. From which, 1.600 square meters are of constructed area including: a 600 square meters shed; a dining-hall with 400 square meters of space, 4 houses with 78 square meters, in such are distributed our males and females volunteer staff members, as also, our enrolled students. We still have 3 houses under construction with a 100 square meters of space, each, and we also have a central house, where we hold our meetings, biblical studies, and other activities. Besides that, we have a soccer field, a volleyball field, 2 natural lakes and we have space to receive church caravans, spiritual retreats, workshops, seminars, even other events, with maximum capacity for 240 people.
